From August 7 to 9, the "3rd International Conference on Rail Transit (ICRT 2024)", jointly organized by Tongji University and Southwest Jiaotong University, was held in Shanghai. The event attracted over 500 experts and scholars from 25 countries, who gathered to share the latest research outcomes and explore future industry trends through keynote speeches, technical discussions, and exhibitions. Topics covered included intelligent railways, high-speed railways, maglev trains, engineering safety in heavy-haul railways, and railway-environment interactions.
