Good News! Song Shuang, General Manager of Toehold Technology, Honored as "4th Hongkou Craftsman"

On May 12, the 2025 Hongkou District Model Worker Commendation Conference, entitled “Passing the Torch Through a Century, Striving in the Prime Time”, was grandly held at the Hongkou Workers’ Cultural Palace. The conference recognized 2 National Model Workers and Advanced Workers, 3 Shanghai Model Collectives, 10 Shanghai Model Workers and Advanced Workers, 1 Shanghai Craftsman of 2024, and 19 recipients of the 4th Hongkou Craftsman title. Song Shuang, General Manager and Chief Engineer of Toehold Technology, was honored with the title of "4th Hongkou Craftsman."

Li Qian, Secretary of the Hongkou District Committee, emphasized in his address: "A century ago, the Fourth National Congress of the Communist Party of China led the working class in firmly supporting the nation’s backbone. Over the past hundred years, countless model workers and advanced individuals have dedicated themselves to great endeavors and become pillars of the country." The collectives and individuals honored this year are outstanding representatives from various sectors in Hongkou, embodying the spirit of model workers through their actions — "dedication to their work, striving for excellence, hard work and innovation, remaining humble and dedicated to contributing."

It is reported that the selection process for the 4th Hongkou Craftsman was rigorous, ultimately identifying 19 exceptional talents across different fields. Among the honorees are both frontline workers who persevere without fear of hardship, and skilled technical experts; both optimistic urban builders and innovative entrepreneurs. Song Shuang, General Manager and Chief Engineer of Toehold Technology, was successfully selected into the list of the 4th Hongkou Craftsmen in recognition of his outstanding contributions to technological innovation and engineering applications in the field of intelligent monitoring and testing.
