On December 23–24, the structural health monitoring pilot project of the Taiping Lake Bridge in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, successfully passed handover acceptance. As one of the 11 major bridge structural health monitoring pilot projects designated by the Ministry of Transport across China, this initiative received significant attention from relevant authorities. During implementation, the system contractor carefully selected equipment and ultimately adopted the machine vision-based intelligent measurement system independently developed by Toehold Technology to monitor deflection and horizontal displacement of the Taiping Lake Bridge.

Through real-time monitoring via the intelligent vision gauge measurement system, bridge maintenance departments can effectively track the structural status and its evolving behavior. Based on analysis of monitoring data, timely maintenance measures can be implemented to ensure operational safety, significantly enhancing maintenance efficiency and supervision capabilities.
