Toehold Technology Invited to Participate in and Deliver Keynote Report at Bridge Health Monitoring Science Training Conference

On June 16, the unveiling ceremony of the Municipal Science Education Base and the 2023 Bridge Health Monitoring Science Training Conference, guided by the Ganzhou Transportation Bureau and Ganzhou Highway Development Center, organized by the Ganzhou Highway Society, and undertaken by its Bridge and Tunnel Committee, was held in Shangyou County, Ganzhou City. At the training conference, Yao Hongliang, General Manager of Toehold Technology, was invited to deliver a keynote report titled "Research on Health Monitoring Technology for Transportation Infrastructure and Engineering Practices." He engaged in discussions with leaders, experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from various departments, including the Transportation Bureau, Highway Development Center, municipal engineering management, and bridge facility management, on cutting-edge technologies and the latest application advances in health monitoring for transportation infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, and slopes.

During the conference, General Manager Yao Hongliang elaborated on the purpose of structural monitoring, existing issues in the current monitoring market, how to develop monitoring plans, and recent technological breakthroughs. Using health monitoring of transportation infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, slopes, and roadbeds as examples, he detailed tailored solutions designed to meet the needs of different structures and projects, supported by practical application cases. He also demonstrated the measurement methods of the machine vision-based intelligent measuring instrument on site and addressed questions raised by the attendees.
