On July 14, Toehold Technology and Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology jointly held an exchange meeting to discuss talent development strategies and seek mutual growth through school-enterprise collaboration. Attending the meeting were Yao Hongliang, General Manager of Toehold Technology, and his delegation, as well as Xie Tiankai, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Institute, Yang Bo, Vice President, Wang Guilu, Director of the Department of Civil Engineering, Wu Haiyan, Party Branch Secretary of the Department of Civil Engineering, and other relevant representatives of the Institute.

Xie Tiankai, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Wang Guilu, Director of the Department of Civil Engineering, provided a detailed introduction to the Institute's development history, educational positioning, talent cultivation, achievements, as well as the department's background, development origin, educational philosophy, and professional system. General Manager Yao Hongliang introduced Toehold Technology's development journey, business scope, patent achievements, and talent development strategies.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation in areas such as joint talent cultivation and student employment services. General Manager Yao Hongliang expressed that Toehold Technology hopes to establish a long-term and friendly collaborative relationship with the Institute. He noted that the Institute’s “3+1” talent development model aligns closely with the company’s recruitment philosophy. This model not only enables students to quickly apply their knowledge in practice, smoothly transition from academic to professional roles, and improve employment rates, but also significantly reduces the company’s talent training costs, creating a win-win situation for both sides.

During the meeting, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement. Additionally, the Institute appointed General Manager Yao Hongliang as a visiting professor, and Toehold Technology donated a set of professional testing instruments to support the Institute’s teaching and research activities.

The signing of this school-enterprise cooperation agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter in collaborative talent cultivation between Toehold Technology and Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology. It will further advance cooperation in areas such as talent development and specialized program construction, promote resource sharing and complementary strengths, enhance teaching and research capabilities, and contribute to the high-quality development of the industry’s market and technology.
